After graduating from Wheaton College, Elizabeth Leary Strazzulla studied in Florence, Italy at the Charles h. Cecil Studios with Robert Scott Jackson. She also studied at the storied Florence Academy of Art. Her knowledge of classical art and plein aire paintings portray an understsanding of light and color which can be seen in her paintings of Plum Island and the Newburyport area. . In addition to being an award winning painter and sculptor, Elizabeth is also an accomplished equestrian.
