Susan is a unique artist. She paints cows, almost exclusively. And her cows are local neighbors and friends with names and stories. If you purchase a painting by Susan, you'll find the name of the cow listed on the back. She also describes in detail where the cows live and with whom. She can tell you a story or two about each bovine.
Susan lives and works close to the gallery and she often paints en plein air. Her cows have stories. If you look closely each one has a different expression. She has studied at the Pennsylvania Academy, the Wayne Art Center and the Scottsdale Art School on a full scholarship. This Summer she is spending time in Italy.
Susan's work has been shown in many juried shows including the Pastel Society of American, Essex Greenbelt, and many others. Her work is held in private and corporate collections nationwide.
