Jonathan Macadam was born in London, England where he lived for ten years. HIs family then moved to Concord, Massachusetts where he was raised.
A graduate of Gordon College where he studied painting, and sculpture with a concentration in painting, Jonathan also lived and studied in Orvieto Italy. There he studied Renaissance art. He has also traveled and painted throughout England, Ireland and Scotland.
Jonathan is best known for his etheral landscapes particularly of marshes and rivers. He often paints in Newbury, Ipswich, Plum Island and other local areas. HIs colors and depictions of these open areas are well loved by local and national collectors. His work is held by many private and corporate collectors.
